The Breaking Of A Nation

Desperate they turned to a man
They did not understand
Poisonous words burrowed deep
Inside of their heads
Given to lies and misinformation
Plying their fears with frantic persuasion
Masked by the promise of making
Them great again
Like rats to a lake of fire
Selling their morals for dollar signs
Needy they turned to a man
Who did not understand
Something for nothing just works
In a fairytale land
Impossible dreams for the uneducated
Impractical goals for the young and unaided
Selling false hope on the back
Of the hard working man
Like sheep heading to the slaughter
Trading their future for instant reward
Like rats to a lake of fire
Sold their souls for dollar signs
Hear the tune of the loathsome piper
Worse than the blind leading the blind
Like sheep heading to the slaughter
Trading their future for instant reward
Hear the blade of the executioner
Readying them for the butcher’s board

Roller Coaster

Slammed my head into a pipe and dragged me to the train
Strapped me in the car oblivious to all my pain
Took another hit, another drink before the ride
Climbed aboard to set your path to passive suicide
Broken wheels
Broken track
Tried to cheat your fate and jump the gaps
Round the bend your faith went crashing hard into the ground
Up the hill the bonds of blood were splattered all around
Through the loop your ears were deafened to my desperate cries
Caught up in a callous ride of chemicals and lies
Broken pieces
Broken vows
A thousand empty words can’t fix this for you now
Now the ride has ended
Disembarked into your grave
Sold your soul to vice
Until your life could not be saved
Honesty gave way and
Let the filth poison your mind
Guilt and grief and anger
Were the gifts you left behind

Trans World Tribe Leuven, Belgium
After leaving Ancient Rites, Raf Ahrayeph devoted his concentration solely on the Gothic Rock he wrote and recorded with
Ahrayeph, the band.
But the metal gene never went away, and a chance virtual encounter with both American singer Staci Heaton and English guitar player Alex Ward reignited the passion for writing metal songs again.
Thus, Trans World Tribe was born. And they mean business.
